Opportunity: Spatial Construction was entrusted with the opportunity to develop not one, but two, iconic seaside estates on Gerrish Island in Kittery Point, Maine. These homes needed to stand the test of time while utilizing classical design elements and incorporating energy-efficient, “smart” building principles.
Solution: Spatial worked with its partners to create a smart home from the ground up. This home is energy efficient and utilizes leading edge technology for heating, cooling, and security. The home is virtually maintenance free from the composite slate roof to its granite masonry foundation. It is wi-fi enabled, features structurally insulated panels (SIPs), and individually controlled radiant heat. The pictures truly speak for themselves!
